The Little Grimley Amateur Dramatic Society is on the brink of financial ruin. Membership has dwindled to just four members, and the audiences are even smaller. In a desperate bid to clear their debts and pay the venue rent, the iron-willed chairman, Gordon, devises a plan to stage a Christmas pantomime with a difference. Chaos quickly ensues as the four clash over the script, argue over tiny budgets, and fight over who has to wear the tights, ending in mayhem.

A woman puts a box down next to a stranger in a park, giving strict instructions before she rushes off, not to move, knock, tilt or open it. Passers-by offer suggestions as to what's inside, and what should be done with it - is it a bomb, a packet of deadly anthrax or perhaps a severed head?
